Get your first referral

Your first referral doesn't need to be complicated. Think of the merchants you can actually help, then offer the service their business needs, such as content, marketing, store setup, photography or design.

1. Decide how you'll help the merchant

Start with the kind of merchant you know or can reach, and ask yourself what service you can offer them. For example:

  • Setting up and launching their store.

  • Managing their content or photography.

  • Marketing and bringing in customers.

  • Designing their brand or products.

  • Advising them as they start their business.

The clearer your service, the easier it is to recommend Zid in a way that fits the merchant's needs.

2. Recommend the right plan

Once you understand what the merchant needs, help them choose the Zid plan that suits them. An annual subscription is recommended, so your commission is counted under the program's rules.

Don't stop at selling the plan: explain how Zid helps the merchant start their store, and connect it to the service you'll provide.

3. Make sure the referral is yours

For the referral to count for you, the merchant registers in one of two ways:

  • Through your Safeer landing page.

  • With your referral code.

Share your link or code before the merchant registers, and make sure they use it when subscribing. See Your landing page and referral code.

4. Start working with the merchant

Once the merchant registers, start delivering your service. Both of you benefit:

  • The merchant launches their store with the support they need.

  • You're paid for your service directly by the merchant, as you agree between you.

  • You earn a Safeer commission once its requirements are met.

Start with a merchant you know or a client you already work with. A first referral usually comes from an existing relationship and a clear service.
