API integrations
API integrations gives you the two values a service that supports Zid needs to connect directly to your store: your Store ID and a manager token. Open it from Settings > API integrations.
When you connect a service, it verifies your store's identity with the manager token (the merchant's private key) and the store ID. Use this page when a developer or a service asks you for these values.
Copy your store ID
Go to Settings > API integrations.
In Direct integration info, click the copy icon next to Store ID.
Generate a manager token
In Direct integration info, find Access token.
Click Generate manager token.
The token appears in a box at the bottom of the card. Click the copy icon next to Access token to copy it.
Paste the token into the service you are connecting, and keep a copy somewhere safe.
The token is shown only until you leave the page; the dashboard does not display it again. A new token is generated each time you click the button, so generate one only when you need it.
The manager token gives access to your store's data. Share it only with services authorized by Zid and people you trust, never post it publicly, and do not send it by email or chat to anyone who asks for it unexpectedly.
Generating a manager token needs a plan that includes API integrations. On other plans the page shows an upgrade message, and Generate manager token opens the upgrade options.
If an integration stops working
Signing out from all devices in Security settings can disconnect existing API integrations. If a connected service stops working afterwards, reconnect it, generating a new manager token if the service asks for one.
