App market
The Zid App Market lists the apps that add features to your store, from marketing and shipping tools to accounting and customer service. Open the Apps tab at the top of the sidebar and choose App Market.
The sidebar's Apps tab also holds My apps, with your installed apps under it, so you can manage them and see their details in one place, and Categories, which opens the market filtered by a kind of use, such as marketing, accounting, payments or operations, so you find the right app faster.
What the App Market page shows

Each app card shows the app's icon, name, rating, pricing, a short description, and tags such as Embedded or a discount. An embedded app works inside your dashboard, so you control it without going to the developer's own control panel; see Open an embedded app. Click a card to open the app's page; see App details and installation.
Search and browse apps
Type in the search box on the App Market page and press Enter, or click a tag under it. The Browse apps page opens with the results.
On Browse apps, refine the results with Search by app name.
Open the sort menu beside the search box and choose All, Most subscribed, The most recent, Top rated, Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low.
Use the page buttons and Per page: at the bottom to move through the results.
On Browse apps, each card also lists the app's categories. When nothing matches, the page shows No results found with Clear all filters, and suggests apps under Suggested apps.
Explore a solution
A solution brings together the apps that answer one business need, with an explanation of how they help.
On the App Market page, click a solution under Zid Solutions for App Market.
Read its description, then browse Apps in this solution and click an app to open it.
Compare apps
You can compare up to 4 apps side by side.
Click Add to compare on the app cards. The button changes to Added, and a Compare apps tray appears at the bottom of the page with your selection count.
Select at least 2 apps, then click Compare in the tray.
The Compare apps dialog shows each app's Rating, Pricing, Pricing model, Free trial, Key feature and Active stores (how many stores use it).
Click View app to open an app, or Remove from comparison to drop it. Clear all in the tray empties your selection.
Your selection is saved in your browser, so it stays when you move between App Market pages.

Get a custom app or connect your own system
When no app in the market does what you need, a developer can build a private app for your store, or connect your store to a system you already use, such as an ERP, accounting or CRM system. Get a custom app, under Suggestions and private applications, opens the Zid Partner portal, where developers register and build apps for Zid stores. See Connect your own system or a private app for the steps and what to agree with your developer.
Some services connect with your store ID and a manager token instead of an app. See API integrations.
Connecting to your store through Zid's API depends on your plan. Before you hire a developer, check that your plan includes Zid API integration in the plans comparison. See Subscription and billing.
