Sell appointments and bookings on your Zid store
If you sell services by appointment, such as consultations, salon sessions, classes or rentals, a booking app lets customers pick a time and pay for it in your store, instead of arranging it over WhatsApp, phone calls or spreadsheets. The App market has two booking apps under Bookings & Subscriptions:
| App | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Bookings | You set up services, schedules and capacity inside the app. Each service becomes a product in your store. | Managing everything from Zid, without another booking system |
| Zoho Bookings | Connects your products to the services and calendars you manage in your Zoho Bookings account. | Businesses that already use Zoho Bookings, or need its scheduling rules |
Both apps are paid and start with a free trial. This page covers the Bookings app, made by Zid. For the other one, see Sell appointments with Zoho Bookings.
What the Bookings app does
The Bookings app lets businesses that run on appointments and services manage their bookings from inside their store. You create services, set working hours, appointment lengths and capacity, and follow every booking from one dashboard. Customers choose the service and the time that suit them and pay in your store, and confirmations and reminders go out automatically.
Choose a plan
| Plan | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Basic | Up to 3 bookable services and 3 resources (staff, rooms or equipment), hourly bookings, a booking form on product pages, and a confirmation email with a calendar invite. |
| Pro | Everything in Basic, plus unlimited services and resources, several resources per service with automatic assignment, bookings by the hour, the day or both, and several shifts a day. |
Each plan has a 7-day free trial, and paying yearly saves 16%. The plans card on the app's page shows the current prices, such as 99 riyals a month for Basic and 299 riyals a month for Pro.

Install the app
In your Zid dashboard, open Apps > App Market and search for Bookings.
On the app's page, click Subscribe to see the plans, and choose one.
Review the data the app can access, then click Activate application for the free trial, or Continue to payment.
A page lists the permissions the app gets in your store. Click the install button to finish.

Open the app from My apps or with Open App on its page. It opens inside your dashboard.
Create a service
In the app, open the menu and choose the services page. The same menu holds the settings and a button to switch the app to English.

Click the button to create a service.

Fill in the service's details:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Service name | The name customers see in your store |
| Booking type | By the hour, by the day, or both. Daily and combined bookings need the Pro plan. |
| Price | The price of one booking, in riyals |
| Duration | How long one appointment lasts, in minutes |
| Capacity | How many people can book the same slot |
| Unit | What a booking is counted in, in English and Arabic |
| Buffer time | The minutes kept free before and after each appointment |
| Minimum notice | How long before a slot customers can still book it. For example, two hours stops bookings that start sooner. |
| Resource | The person, room or equipment the service uses |
| Time zone | The time zone your appointment times are shown in |

Click the button to create the service.
How the service appears
The service appears in your dashboard under Products, where you edit it like any other product. In your store, its page shows the price and a booking calendar: customers choose a date and a time, then book or add the service to their cart, pay at checkout, and receive a confirmation.

Manage the subscription
To move to the Pro plan, click Upgrade plan on the app's page. To stop using the app, open the more menu (⋮) at the top of its page and choose Deactivate. See My apps.
