Add a blog with the Tech Station Blog app

The Blog app, made by Tech Station, lets you create and manage a blog for your store from its own platform: publish articles, images and other media to share your expertise with your customers and stay in touch with them. You find it in the App market in the marketing category.

Zid also has a built-in blog in Online store > Blog, with no app to install. See Store blog. The Blog app works only with themes made by Tech Station and by Zid.

Install the app

  1. In your Zid dashboard, open Apps > App Market and search for the Blog app.

  2. On the app's page, click Subscribe and choose a plan. The app starts with a free trial.

  3. Review the data the app needs to work in your store. If you agree, click Activate application, then install the app on the permissions page that follows.

  4. The Blog platform opens. Sign up for a new account, or sign in if you already have one.

Write a post

  1. In the Blog platform, open Posts and click New post.

  1. Enter the post's title and content, and add its image. You can also set its status, categories and tags.

  1. Click Create to save the post.

Show the blog in your store

To link your blog from your store's footer, open your theme editor, go to the footer's links, and add a link to your store address followed by /blogs. See Help customers find your blog.
