Store blog

Your store blog helps customers find you through search engines and gives you a place to write about your products. Manage it in Online store > Blog: write posts, publish or hide them, link them to products, and import or export them.

The blog depends on your plan and needs the blog permission. See Subscription and Staff groups.

Activate your blog

When the blog is off, the page shows Your blog awaits.

  1. Go to Online store > Blog.

  2. Select Activate blog.

Once the blog is on, Categories and Tags appear under Blog in the sidebar.

Help customers find your blog

After your first post, the Make your blog easy to find banner suggests where to link your blog:

  • In the top menu, from Online store > Menu.

  • In the footer, from the theme editor's Footer > Links section.

Select Copy blog address to copy your blog's link, which is your store address followed by /blogs.

In your storefront, the blog lists each published post with its title, short description, publish date, cover image and tags, and shows your active categories as tabs at the top. A post's page ends with its related products and suggested posts. The exact layout depends on your theme, on computers and phones alike.
