Export requests

Export requests lists every file exported from your dashboard, such as order, product, customer, coupon or review lists. Exports are prepared in the background, so this is where you check that a file is ready and download it. Open it from Settings > Export requests.

How exports work

  1. You export a list from its page, for example from Orders or Products.

  2. The dashboard takes you to this page, where Zid prepares the file in a new row. You also get a notification in the dashboard when it is ready.

  3. You download the file from this page before it expires.

Preparing a file usually takes a few minutes. Once it is ready, you have 24 hours to download it, and the Expires in column counts down the time left.

If Protect exported files with a password is on in Security settings, each file is locked with a password that is sent to your registered email. Click Security settings at the top of this page to change that option.

Download an exported file

  3. Click Download in its row. The file opens in a new browser tab.

Download is available only while the file is ready and has not expired. Click the refresh icon above the table to update the statuses without reloading the page.

Viewing this page needs the permission to view export requests, and downloading a file needs the permission to manage them.

Filter export requests

Click the filter icon above the table to open Filters:

In charity stores, order and customer exports are named for donations, for example Donations export and Donors export.
