Manage customers
The customer list shows every customer account in your store, with contact details, location, how each customer reached you, their order count and their loyalty points. Open it from Customers > All customers. From here you add customers one at a time or import them from a file, export customer data, and open any customer's details page.

In a store registered as a non-profit organization, the dashboard calls customers donors: the menu reads Donors > All donors, the page is Donors list, and labels such as Total orders and Last order become Total donations and Last donation. Everything on this page works the same way.
Staff members need the permission to view customers to open this page. Adding, editing, importing, exporting and deleting customers each need their own permission. Without it, the dashboard shows a permission message when you select the action. Owners set permissions in staff groups.
Open the customer list
In the sidebar, select Customers.
Select All customers.
The list shows 25 customers per page. Change the number in Rows per page at the bottom of the table, and use the page numbers to move between pages.
Tabs
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every customer in your store. |
| Active | Customers whose accounts are active. The tab shows how many there are. |
| Banned | Customers you banned. You cannot create orders for them or send them reminders until you unban them. The tab shows how many there are. |
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name / Type | The customer's name, and whether the account is Individual or Business. Up to three of the customer's tags appear below, followed by a count of the rest. |
| Mobile / Email | The customer's mobile number and email address. |
| City / Country | The city and country saved on the customer's account. |
| Total orders | How many orders the customer has placed. A customer with 0 orders has an account but hasn't completed an order yet, for example someone who signed in and added products to their cart without checking out. |
| Last order | When the customer last ordered. Orders from the past week show how long ago, such as "3 days ago"; older ones show the date. Point at it to see the exact date and time. A dash means the customer hasn't ordered yet. |
| Loyalty points | The customer's loyalty points balance. |
| Acquisition channel | Where the account was created: Online store, Merchant dashboard (added by your team), Zid POS or Mazeed. |
Select a customer's name, or the Edit button at the end of the row, to open their details page. Select the arrow at the start of a row to expand it and see the customer's All orders, Completed orders and Total spent without leaving the list.
Search and sort customers
Type in the Search box above the table to find a customer. The results update as you type.
To change the order, select the Order results button and choose Name, Mobile, City, Total orders or Loyalty points, ascending or descending. Select Remove ordering to go back to the default order.

Filter customers
Select the Filters button above the table.

Sample data from a demo store. Set the filters you need. They are grouped into four sections:
Section Filters Customer details Customer groups, Tags, Customer type (Company or Individual), Gender, Month of birth, Customer channel (Online store, POS or Mazeed) Customer location Countries and Cities. The city list shows cities in the countries you chose. Account status and subscriptions Account status (Active or Inactive) and Ads and updates subscribers (Subscribers or Non-subscribers) Orders count A Condition (Orders count more than, Orders count less than or Orders count equals) and the Total orders number to compare with, starting at 1 Select Apply.
The filters you applied appear as chips above the table. Remove one chip to clear that filter, or select Clear all to clear every filter. Removing the countries chip also clears the cities, and removing the orders count chip clears its condition. Reset in the filters panel clears every filter at once.
Filtering customers depends on your plan. When your plan does not include it, the filter fields are disabled.
Add a customer
Select Create at the top of the customer list. The Add a new customer page opens.
Choose the Customer type: Individual or Company. The fields below change with the type.

Field Applies to Rules Name Both Required. Email Both Optional. Must be a valid email address. Mobile Both Required. Must be a valid mobile number. Saudi numbers work without a country code; for other countries, include the country code. Gender Individual Optional: Male or Female. Company name Company Required. Country Both Required. City Both Required. Choose the country first; changing the country clears the city. Date of birth Individual Optional. Cannot be a future date. Commercial registration Company Required. Digits only, 5 to 15 characters. Tax number Company Required. Select Create. The button is active once you change a field.
The new customer appears in the list with Merchant dashboard as the acquisition channel. If you leave the page before saving, the dashboard asks you to confirm that you want to discard your changes.
Company customers are part of the Professional plan. When your plan does not include them, the Company option is disabled and shows an upgrade icon.
Customers who register as a business
Customers can also turn their own account into a business account from your store:
The customer signs in to your store and opens the personal information page of their account.
After filling in their personal details, they turn on the switch to buy as a company.
They enter the company name, the commercial registration and the tax number. The store requires all three.
They save their details.

The account then shows as Business in your customer list. On the customer's orders, the company name, commercial registration and VAT number appear on the order details page and on the invoice.
Import customers from a file
At the top of the customer list, open the More menu (⋮) and select Import customers. The Import customers dialog opens with three steps.

Sample data from a demo store. Under step 1, select Download to get the Excel template, then fill in your customers, one per row. See the template columns below.
Under step 2, select Upload and choose your file. The dialog accepts
.xlsxand.csvfiles. Select the red ✕ next to the file name to choose another file.Under step 3, Customers import options, choose what happens to customers who already exist in your store:
Update existing customers overwrites their details with the data in your file.
Update current customers points also overwrites their loyalty points. Checking it checks Update existing customers too.
Select Import.
When the import succeeds, the dashboard shows Customers imported successfully. If it fails, Failed to import customers appears at the top of the dialog with the reason and the row it comes from, for example an invalid mobile number in row 4 of your file. Fix that row and import the file again.

Keep the column headers as they are in the template. Name, Phone and Type are required for every customer; leave any other column empty when you don't have the information.

Export customers
Exports run in the background. When you start one, the dashboard confirms the request and takes you to Export requests, where you download the file when it is ready.
All customers: open the More menu (⋮) and select Export all customers.

Sample data from a demo store. The customers on screen: apply a tab, a search or filters first, then open the More menu and select Export filtered results. This option appears only while the list is narrowed, and the file holds exactly the customers that match.
Selected customers: select customers with the checkboxes, open Actions and select Export.
To export the customers who carry a tag, filter the list by Tags first, then select Export filtered results.
Exporting customers depends on your plan and needs the export permission. When your plan does not include it, the dashboard offers an upgrade instead.
Act on several customers at once
Select the checkbox next to each customer, or the checkbox in the header to select the whole page.
Open Actions above the table and choose:
Delete removes the selected customers after you confirm. This cannot be undone.
Export sends the selected customers to Export requests.
Update wallet balance adds or deducts wallet credit for the selected customers. It appears when the customer wallet is active and you have permission to manage it, and works on up to 100 customers at a time.

Sample data from a demo store.
Bulk actions depend on your plan. When your plan does not include them, the Actions button is disabled.
Cancel or delete a customer
Each row has a menu (⋮) with two options:

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cancel customer from store | Unsubscribes the customer from your store. You can no longer target them with marketing lists or campaigns. Confirm with Cancel customer. |
| Delete customer and data | Permanently erases the customer and all their data. This cannot be undone. Confirm with Delete customer and data. |
Delete customer and data removes the customer's information for good. Use it when a customer asks you to delete their data, and export anything you need to keep first.
To ban a customer instead, open their details page.
