List your Zid products on Google with Merchant Center
Google Merchant Center is where you upload and organize your product information so Google can show your products in its services: Google search, the Shopping tab and free listings. It also connects your products to your Google Ads campaigns. Merchant Center reads your products from a product feed link that Zid keeps up to date, so your prices and stock stay current without uploading anything by hand.
The Google Merchant Center app in the App market is free and has no code to enter: its page leads you to the feed link you add in Google.
Get your product feed link
In your Zid dashboard, open Apps > App Market and search for Google Merchant Center.
On the app's page, click Get your feed link in Product Feeds in the Product catalog integration card.

Sample data from a demo store. On the product feeds page, choose Google in Platform, then the Language and Currency you sell in, and select Generate Link. See Product feeds.
When the feed is ready, copy its link with the copy icon. You paste it in Merchant Center later.
Merchant Center rejects products without an image or other required details. Check your products before you add the feed, so they're approved on the first fetch.
Create your Merchant Center account
If you already have a Merchant Center account, skip to Add your products.
Go to Google Merchant Center and sign in with your business's Google account. Under Enter your business information, enter your store's name, your business country and your time zone.

Choose the Merchant Center emails you want, then read the Merchant Center terms of service and tick the box to agree.

Under Where do you want your customers to check out?, choose On my website, and add your store address.

When your account is ready, click Continue.

Choose Website, enter your store address, and click Claim URL. Verifying and claiming your address tells Google the store is yours.

Add your products
In Merchant Center, open the settings icon and choose Data sources.

Click Add product source.

Choose Add products from a file, then paste your Zid feed link under Enter a link to your file.

Check the country, language and fetch schedule. Google fetches the file on that schedule, every day by default, so it picks up your changes on its own.
Save the source.
After the first fetch, Merchant Center lists your products with a status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | The product was imported correctly and can appear on Google. |
| Pending | Google is still reviewing the product. |
| Disapproved or invalid | The product misses something Google requires, often an image. Fix it in your dashboard. |

When you fix a product in your Zid dashboard, Google picks up the change at its next fetch.
Give your team access
In Merchant Center, open the settings icon and choose People and access.
Choose the kind of access:
People: users who can sign in to your Merchant Center account.
Email-only access: people who don't sign in but receive important emails, such as rejected products or data problems.
Click Add person under the kind you chose, and enter the person's email address.

Choose their access type, such as Admin, Standard, Read-only or Performance and insights, then click Add user.

The person you add accepts the invitation from the email Google sends them.
