Brands
Brands let customers browse your products by manufacturer or label, and each brand gets its own page in your store. You manage them in Products > Brands, where you create brands, describe them for search engines and assign products to them.
Brands depend on your plan. If your plan doesn't include them, the page shows an upgrade message instead of the list. Staff members also need the permission to manage brands.
The brands list
Use the tabs All, Published and Hidden to filter the list.
Type in Search by brand to find a brand by name.
Brands are listed by name.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Brand name | The brand's image and name. Select the name to edit the brand. |
| Date created | The date you created the brand. |
| Product count | How many products are assigned to the brand. |
| Status | A switch that publishes or hides the brand. The change is saved straight away. |
| ⋮ | The brand's actions: Edit information, Manage products, Preview in store and Delete. |

Edit information opens the brand's details and search engine settings, Manage products opens the products assigned to it, Preview in store opens its page in your store, and Delete removes it. Preview in store appears only when the brand has a store link.
Show brands in your store menu
When you have at least one brand, a banner titled Make your brands easy to find reminds you to add brands to your store's main menu so customers can reach them. Close the banner with ✕ if you don't need it; it stays hidden in that browser.
To add the brands link to your menu:
Go to Online store > Menu, or select Menu in the banner.
In Menu options, turn on Brands. The change is saved straight away.

The menu link and each brand's Status are separate settings: the menu link takes customers to your brands, and they see only the brands you've published. Publish the brands you want to show and turn on the menu link.
What customers see
The brands link in your store menu opens a page with all your published brands. Customers choose a brand there to browse its products.
