Withdrawal priority
Withdrawal priority is the order in which your inventory locations fulfil orders. Find it in Products > Inventory > Withdrawal priority, or click Withdrawal priority on the Inventory addresses page. The page title is Priority for withdrawal from warehouse.
How priority decides which location fulfils an order
Orders go first to the location at the top of the list, then to the next one, and so on.
If one location can't fulfil the whole order, the order is split and allocated to several locations.
The shipping label is issued from one location only.
For example, with Riyadh warehouse first and Jeddah warehouse second, an order is assigned to Riyadh. If Riyadh has only part of the order, the rest is allocated to Jeddah.
Some stores assign each order to the closest location. In these stores, each location also has a delivery radius that defines where it delivers. See Warehouses and inventory locations.
Change the priority order
Open the Priority for withdrawal from warehouse page.

Sample data from a demo store. Drag a location by its handle on the left of its row, and drop it in its new position.
The new order is saved as soon as you drop the location, and the dashboard confirms the update. You don't need to click a save button.

The tip at the top of the page summarises how priority works. Close it with its × button.
Plans and permissions
Withdrawal priority isn't included in free plans. If your plan doesn't include it, the Withdrawal priority button on the Inventory addresses page opens an upgrade offer, and the page itself shows Not included in your plan with an Upgrade to button that names the plan you need. See Subscription.

Staff need the permission to manage withdrawal priority to open this page. See Staff groups.
