Bundle offers
Bundle offers reward customers for buying more than one product: buy a product and get another free, at a percentage off or with a fixed amount off, or buy a set of products for one price. Manage them from Marketing > Bundle offers.

Creating bundle offers depends on your plan. When your plan doesn't include them, the page shows an upgrade alert and Create opens an upgrade window. Filters also depend on your plan.
Staff members need permission to view bundle offers to open the page, and permission to manage them to create, edit or delete offers. Bundle offers aren't available in non-profit stores.
Bundle types
When you select Create, the Create a new bundle offer window offers two types:
| Type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Buy a product, get another | The customer buys a set quantity, then gets products free, at a percentage off or with a fixed amount off each. Described on this page. |
| Products at a fixed price | The customer buys a set quantity from one or two groups of products and pays one price for all of them. See Fixed-price bundles. |
Both types count products, not the cart value. To reward a higher cart value instead, use Progressive discounts. Unlike a discount code, which lowers the price of what's already in the cart, a bundle offer applies only once the customer adds the quantity it asks for.
The bundle offers list
| Tab | Shows |

| All | Every bundle offer |
| Active | Offers running now |
| Expired | Offers whose end date has passed |
| Not started yet | Offers whose start date is still to come |

| End date | The last day, or --- when the offer has no end date |
| Status | Active, Disabled or Expired |

The list is sorted by start date, newest first; you can sort by Start date or End date instead. To delete several offers, tick them and choose Delete in the bulk actions.

Create a buy X get Y offer
Go to Marketing > Bundle offers and select Create.
Choose Buy a product, get another. The Create bundle page opens.
Fill in Details, Customer buy and Customer gets, and optionally Settings.
Check the Summary panel. Under How it works, it states the offer, such as "Buy 2 from specific products, get 1 from any product for free."
Select Create.
Before saving, Zid checks that the products the customer buys can join this offer for the dates you chose. If they can't, an error message explains why. When the offer is saved, the dashboard shows Bundle offer created successfully and returns to the list.
You can also start this form from the Create bundle offer quick action in the dashboard search. Product suggestions in AI insights, such as products frequently bought together, open it with Customer buy already set to those products.

Customer buy
Choose what the customer must add to the cart to qualify.
| Field | Rules |
|---|---|
| Applies to | All products, Selected Products or Selected Categories |
| Products quantity | Required, at least 1: the minimum number of products the customer buys |
| Exclude discounted products | Leaves out products that already have a sale price |
| Products or categories | For Selected Products or Selected Categories, select at least one with Add products or Add categories, then Browse products or Browse categories to change them. Only published products appear. |
Customer gets
Choose what the customer gets once the cart holds the quantity above, using the same Applies to, Products quantity and Exclude discounted products fields. Products quantity is required for All products and Selected Categories.
Then choose the Offer type:
| Offer type | Rules |
|---|---|
| Free | The products are free. The default. |
| Percentage discount | Enter a Percentage more than 0, up to 100. |
| Fixed amount off each | Enter a Fixed amount more than 0. With several products, the amount comes off each one; if it's higher than a product's price, the customer gets that product free. |
With Free, you also choose:
Automatically add free products to the cart: the free product is chosen automatically, and the customer can't change it.
With the lowest priced item or With highest priced item: which eligible product is given free.

Settings
| Setting | Rules |
|---|---|
| Total bundle limit | The most times the bundle can be used. If not set, bundles run until sold out or expired. |
| Usage limit per customer | How many times one customer can use the offer |
| A special category for the bundle offers | A category where the bundle's products are grouped in your store |
Bundle offers work in the online store and need no code: the offer applies in the cart as soon as it holds the products it needs, and the customer sees the discount on the eligible products. If a free product runs out of stock, customers can't get the offer, so check your stock before and during the offer. Showing the offer on the product page, beyond the name and description, depends on your theme; ask your theme developer.

Bundle offers apply together with discount codes or loyalty points only when Activate multiple discounts is on in Checkout page options; otherwise the cart takes one discount.
If a customer adds the same products to several bundle offers, the offer applies to the products added to the cart first.
Edit, activate or deactivate an offer
Select the offer's name or its Edit button. The Bundle offer page opens with the same form.
Change the fields and select Save. The dashboard shows Bundle offer updated successfully.
To pause the offer, select Deactivate. Select Activate to run it again. Deactivated offers show Disabled in the list.
Changes apply to orders placed after you save. Deleting an offer doesn't change the past orders that used it.
Tips for bundle offers
Pair complementary products rather than substitutes: "buy a shirt, get socks free" works better than "buy a shirt, get another shirt free".
To clear slow-moving stock, make the slow product the one the customer gets, not the one they buy.
To introduce a new product, make it the product the customer gets with a popular product they buy.
Work out your margin first. "Buy one, get one free" is a 50% discount on the pair.
Tell customers about the offer before they reach the cart: a banner on your home page, a label on product cards, and A special category for the bundle offers that gathers its products.
Tick Exclude discounted products so discounts don't pile up on products already on sale.
Run the offer for a short period first, such as a week, check its effect on your average order, then extend it.
Add the offer's rules to your store's terms and conditions page.
