Zid Insights
Zid Insights watches your store's performance, explains what changed and points out what deserves your attention. It compares your store with similar stores and with the wider market, answers questions about your data and prepares reports you can share with your team. Open it from Analytics > Zid Insights, marked New in the sidebar.
Zid Insights is a separate subscription. The page you see depends on whether your store has it: an offer to try it, the full set of analyses, or a renewal banner when it has ended. The analyses use your store's data, and some compare it with stores in your industry and with national market data.
Try or subscribe to Zid Insights
Without a subscription, Zid Insights opens on a page that presents the service: what it watches, three ways it helps (Ask your store data, Follow what needs attention and Know where to expand), and the list of Available Zid Insights analyses.
To start a free trial:
Go to Analytics > Zid Insights.
Click Start free trial. The page shows how long the trial lasts, which depends on your plan.
In Start your free trial?, confirm. The trial starts immediately and Your free trial has been activated successfully! appears.
If your store isn't eligible for the trial, the button reads Upgrade your plan and opens the plan upgrade window instead. These messages explain why a trial can't start:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Your store has already used the free trial. | Each store gets one trial. Subscribe to keep using Zid Insights. |
| Your current plan is not eligible for the free trial. | Upgrade your plan to get Zid Insights. |
| You already have an active Insights subscription. | Your store already has access; reload the page. |
During the trial, a badge beside the page title shows how many days are left in your trial.

Two shortcut cards: Ask Zid Insights opens the chat analyst, and Request a custom report opens the report request form.

Read an analysis
Click an analysis card to open it. Every analysis follows the same layout:

Summary cards at the top, written by AI, explain what stands out in the data, such as a warning, an unusual change or a positive trend. If they can't load, click Retry.
The analysis itself: charts, tables and figures for the question in its title, such as Which Products Are Tying Up Your Capital?
Controls: most analyses let you pick a period (such as Last 90 days), switch between a chart and a table, filter by category or country, and sort the table.
Actions: buttons that take you where you can act, such as Create Discount, Create Bundle Offer or Create Transfer Request.
Click the back arrow beside the title to return to the analyses.
Export an analysis
Analyses with a table have an Export button that downloads the table as a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet.
Change the stores you are compared with
Analyses that compare you with similar stores, such as Market Position and Payment Gaps, show Compared against: with the group of stores used and how it was chosen: detected from your sales, based on your store's main activity, or chosen by you.
Click Change category in that banner.
In Change your store category, choose the Store category that best matches what you sell.
Click Save category. The comparisons are recalculated against stores in that category.
Follow Zid Insights notifications
Notifications collects warnings, unusual changes and links between metrics that Zid Insights found across your analyses.
Click Notifications at the top of Zid Insights.

Sample data from a demo store. To narrow the list, open the filter and pick a group, such as Products or Operations, or All.
Click a notification to open the analysis it comes from.
Click Dismiss on a notification you have dealt with. Dismissed notifications are hidden in this browser only.
When there is nothing new, the list shows No new insights.
Download Zid Insights reports
The Reports page lists the reports Zid Insights prepares for your store: automated weekly, monthly or quarterly reports, and the custom reports you request. Open it from the Request a custom report card on the Zid Insights page.

| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Report Title | The report's name. |
| Frequency | Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Custom. |
| Status | Pending, Processing, Completed or Failed. |
| Period date | The period the report covers. |
| Created date | When the report was created. |
When a report is Completed and its files are ready, buttons at the end of its row download it as PowerPoint or Excel. While reports are being prepared, the list refreshes by itself. Use Search report and the filters for Report type, Status and Period date to find a report.

The PowerPoint file is a presentation ready to share with your team: a cover slide with the headline figure and the period, a slide listing what the report covers, then a slide for each finding, such as your best-selling products or your top regions by revenue. The Excel file holds the same data as tables you can sort and filter.
