POS Go and POS Pro plans
Zid POS comes in two plans. POS Go is free and covers the basics of selling in store from the owner's account. POS Pro is a yearly subscription per cashier license that adds staff accounts, sessions, advanced payments, custom invoices, reports and hardware. You compare and activate them from Channels > POS, under Select your plan.

Activate POS Go
POS Go is free and needs Zid Pay to be active on your store.
Go to Channels > POS.
Click Activate POS Go in the POS Go card, or Start POS Go in the Looking for POS Go? banner.
The Start POS Go page lists What's included in POS Go: Quick Sales Creation, Product & Customer Management, Flexible Payment Options, Smart Invoice Sharing, Returns & Transaction History and Real-Time Transaction Syncing.
Click Activate POS Go at the top of the page.
The Your POS is now active dialog opens. Scan its QR code with your device, or click Download ZidPOS, to install the app.
Close the dialog to go to the POS home page.
If Zid Pay isn't active, the dashboard shows You need to activate ZidPay before activating ZidPOS Go and nothing is activated. See Zid Pay.
On POS Go, your store has a single cashier: the owner account. Add Cashier is unavailable, and the dashboard's POS reports, payment methods and invoice templates show Not available in your plan with an Upgrade plan button. The POS sales and transactions lists also stay empty until you upgrade.
Subscribe to POS Pro
A POS Pro license lets one cashier sell for a year. You can buy several licenses at once, with or without devices.
Go to Channels > POS and click Activate POS Pro. From an active POS, you can also click Add Cashier on the Cashiers page, or Upgrade on POS Go.
The Add New Cashier page opens with your Subscription options.

Sample data from a demo store. Click Select Package on the package you want:
| Package | Includes |
|---|---|
| Software Only | Cashier Subscription |
| Basic | Cashier Subscription, Tablet and Tablet stand. Marked Best value and selected by default. |
| Full Package | Cashier Subscription, Tablet, Tablet stand, Cash drawer, Barcode Scanner and Receipt Printer |
Set the number of cashier licenses with the counter on the selected package. The minimum is 1, and each license comes with its own set of the package's devices.
Check the summary bar at the bottom of the page. It lists every item with its price multiplied by the number of licenses, marks Cashier Subscription as Annually, and shows the Total price.
Click Proceed to checkout and complete the payment.
Once the payment goes through, the new licenses appear on the Cashiers page.
Renew or upgrade a cashier
Each license has an expiry date shown on the Cashiers page.
To renew a license, click Renew in its row. The checkout opens for one year of that cashier's subscription.
To move from POS Go to POS Pro, click Upgrade in the cashier's row, or Upgrade plan on any locked page, and follow the POS Pro steps above.
On the Cashiers page, Add Cashier, Renew and Upgrade need the staff permission to manage cashiers. Without it, the dashboard shows a permission message.
