Markets and international selling
Markets let you sell to groups of countries with their own currency, product list and prices. Your store's original setup is the primary market; each extra market covers the countries you choose. Manage markets in Settings > General > Markets.
Each market has its own prices, set in the market's currency, so you don't rely on one global price or on automatic currency conversion.
Markets appears in settings only for stores where markets are available. The number of markets you can create depends on your plan, for example one market (the primary one) on Starter, two on Growth and five on Professional. When you reach the limit, Create opens an upgrade dialog. Staff need separate permissions to view, create, edit and delete markets, and to edit a market's products and prices.
The markets page
An alert at the top explains that every market uses your store's active theme unless you change it. Below it, each market has a card:
| Item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Market name | The market's name. The primary market has a Primary label. |
| Countries | How many countries the market covers. |
| Used theme | The storefront theme customers in this market see. |
| Manage | Opens the market's details to edit them. |
| More menu | Manage products, Customize theme, Reset to default and Remove market. |
Reset to default appears only for a market that has its own theme, and Remove market never appears for the primary market.
Create a market
Creating a market takes four steps: Market details, Add products, Price setup and Manage prices.
Select Create at the top of the markets page.
In Market details, fill in:
Market name, in Arabic, English or both. At least one language is required.
Countries: select at least one country.
Market currency: the currency customers in this market pay in.

Sample data from a demo store. Select Next.
In Add products, select Add products, choose the products to sell in this market and save your selection. Only published products that are not already in the market are listed. Select Next once at least one product is added.

Personal details are covered. The product picker lets you filter by category, search, switch between product types and hide out-of-stock products:

Personal details are covered. In Price setup method, choose how to fill in this market's prices:
Copy prices from the primary market as they are, in the new market's currency.
Convert prices automatically using the current exchange rate between the two currencies.
Enter prices manually.
Select Next.
In Manage prices, review the products and their prices. Select Edit Prices to change them (see Edit a market's prices).

Personal details are covered. Select Create.
In Confirm market creation, turn on Publish market to make the market active now, or leave it off to save it as a draft and finish later. Then select Create.
You choose the price setup method only while you create a market. After that, change prices from Edit Prices.
Product statuses in a market
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Published | Customers in this market can see and buy the product. |
| Hidden | The product is in the market but hidden from customers. |
| Price not set | The product has no price in this market, so it is hidden automatically until you set one. |
Edit a market
Select Manage on the market's card.
On Market manage, change the Market name, Countries or Market currency.

Sample data from a demo store. For a market other than the primary one, use Publish market under Show market to show or hide it.
Select Save.
When you change a market's currency, price amounts stay the same and only the currency changes. Review your product prices afterwards and adjust them if needed.
If the customer wallet uses your primary market's currency, that currency cannot be changed from here. Select Contact support in the alert to ask for the change.
Manage a market's products
Open the market card's more menu and select Manage products.
On the market's products page, select Add products to add more, or Edit Prices to change prices.
Edit a market's prices
Edit Prices opens the Product price page, a full-screen table of the market's products and their variants.
Enter each product's Price and Sale price in the market's columns. The primary market's prices appear next to them for reference.

Personal details are covered. Select Save at the top. Select Reset to undo your changes.
The sale price must be lower than the price. If you leave the page with unsaved changes, you are asked to confirm.
Give a market its own theme
To customize the storefront for one market, open the more menu and select Customize theme. The theme editor opens for that market.
Each market can have its own banners, sections, featured products and promotions without affecting the other markets:
In the theme editor, choose the market from the market list at the top.
Change the images, banners, products and sections for that market. Switching markets in the list shows each market's own content.
Select Publish when you finish. Customers then see the version for their country.

To go back to the store's active theme, select Reset to default, then Reset to default in the dialog.
Remove a market
Open the market card's more menu and select Remove market.
In the dialog, select Remove.
Removing a market deletes it permanently and cannot be undone. The primary market cannot be removed.
