Financial analytics
Analytics > Financial sums up the money side of your orders for a period: total sales, product sales, discounts, shipping, VAT and cash on delivery fees, with your online store and your POS shown separately. The page heading is Financial analytics.
The page needs the financial analytics staff permission. Some figures depend on your plan: a locked figure shows a blurred value and an upgrade tooltip, and the page shows an upgrade banner at the top.
Read your financial figures
Go to Analytics > Financial.
Pick a period in the date field. The page opens on the last 90 days. See Choose a date range.
Read the figures. Hover the information icon beside a label for its definition.
Every figure excludes cancelled orders.

| Total sales | Value of all orders, including shipping fees and taxes. |
| Number of orders | Number of orders. |
| Product sales | Value of the products inside the orders, without shipping or taxes. |
| Total discount value | Value of the discounts applied to orders. |
| Total shipping | Shipping fees charged on orders. |
| Total VAT | Sales tax collected on orders. |
| Total cash on delivery | Cash on delivery fees charged on orders. |
| Total eStore sales | Sales value of orders from your online store, outside POS, whether customers ordered on a phone, a tablet or a computer. |
| Total eStore orders | Number of orders from your online store, outside POS. |
| Total POS sales | Sales value of orders rung up on Zid POS in your branches. See point of sale. |
| Total POS orders | Number of orders rung up on Zid POS in your branches. |
Nonprofit stores see donation wording, such as Total donations and Number of donations, and don't see Total shipping or Total cash on delivery.
Total sales minus Product sales shows how much of your revenue came from shipping fees and taxes rather than products.
Export the financial page
Click Export next to the date field to open your browser's print window, then print the page or save it as a PDF file. The button appears when you have the analytics export permission and your plan includes exporting this page. See Export an analytics page.
