Search the dashboard
The search box in the top bar finds orders, products, categories, customers, apps, coupons, bundle offers and dashboard pages from anywhere in the dashboard. It also runs quick actions, such as creating an order, and can pass your question to Zid AI. On a phone, use the Search tab at the bottom of the screen.
Search from the top bar
Select Search in the top bar, or press Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on a Mac).
Type at least 3 characters. The number of results shown appears at the end of the search box, next to the button that clears your text.
Select a result to open it.
You can also move through the results with the arrow keys and press Enter to open the highlighted one.
Results are grouped by type, with up to two results for each:

Under each type, View all in opens the full list for that type, already filtered by your search.
Search within one type
Under the search box, select a type to search only within it: Apps, Orders, Products, Categories, Customers or Features (dashboard pages). The type appears inside the search box, and until you type, the results area reads, for example, Search for orders. To search everything again, remove the type with its cross.
When you search within Apps, you see up to 10 results instead of two.
Run a quick action
Type what you want to do, in English or Arabic, and the matching action appears at the top of the results:

Quick actions that need a staff permission, such as creating an order, appear only if you have it.
Use your search history and recent pages
Before you type, the search shows:
Recent pages: up to five pages you opened recently.
Search history: your last three searches. Select one to run it again, or select Delete history to clear the list.
Your search history is kept on this browser only.
Search outside the results
When you've typed a search, the bottom of the results offers more places to look:
Search on your words In a list, such as orders or products, which opens that list filtered by your search.
Help center, which searches the help desk for your words in a new tab.
If nothing matches, the search says We couldn't find what you're looking for and offers:
Try asking Zid AI, which sends your words to Zid Assistant. See Zid AI and Zid Assistant.
Suggested pages, such as your orders, products, categories, marketing analytics and account settings.
Search on a phone
On a phone, select Search in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. The search page has the same search box, types, recent pages, history and results.
