Marketplace inventory sync
Inventory sync keeps marketplace stock in line with your Zid stock. For orders you fulfill yourself (FBM, fulfilled by merchant), Zid pushes your available quantities to the marketplace. For orders the marketplace fulfills from its own warehouses (FBx, such as Amazon FBA), Zid can pull the marketplace's quantities. Open the Inventory tab from Channels > Marketplaces > Inventory.
The Inventory tab is available once you activate a marketplace other than Mazeed. Mazeed always uses your Zid quantities and doesn't appear here.
Allow marketplaces to manage inventory
The first time you open the Inventory tab, the Allow Marketplaces to Manage Inventories dialog explains that changing how a product syncs changes it on the marketplace too.
Watch the videos behind Inventory management explained and How to avoid unwanted updates of inventory in the Marketplace, and tick both.
Tick I have completed watching the videos and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Click Confirm. The button is active only when all three are ticked.
Read the inventory list
At the top, an alert titled Quantity Running Low appears when some products are running low, and a card shows:
Marketplace sales over store sales MTD: marketplace sales as a percentage of your store's sales, month to date.
Number of products with less than 10 units.
The Inventory management table lists your linked products with their quantities on every marketplace account:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Product name / SKU | The Zid product. |
| FBM|FBX | FBx when the marketplace holds stock of the product, FBM when you ship it yourself. |
| One column per account (FBX | FBM) | Two boxes: the FBx quantity managed by the marketplace (read-only) and the FBM quantity. |
| Actions menu | Edit quantity opens the Zid product to change its stock. Manage specific configuration opens the product's own sync settings. |
Use Select account above the table to show a single account's column, and the refresh button to reload quantities. After a refresh, the button counts down 90 seconds before you can use it again.
Filter the inventory list
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Configuration type | All, General config (products that follow the general settings) or Specific config (products with their own settings). |
| Quantity is | Less than the number you type. |
| Type of Fulfillment | All, FBx (Fulfillment by Marketplace) or FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant). |
| Marketplace Product ID | The product's ID on the marketplace. |
| SKU code | The product's SKU. |
Set the general sync rules
Click Inventory general configuration at the top of the Inventory tab to open General Inventory syncing configuration.
Set the two main switches:
Pull inventory quantities from FBx (Fulfilled by the marketplace): shows the marketplace's own stock for FBx products, for all marketplaces.
Push Inventory to Marketplace for all FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant): sends the total stock of every inventory location that has the marketplace as a sales channel.
Click Save.
When pushing is on, a table lists each account with its Country and two per-account switches, which save as soon as you change them:
| Column | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pull inventory quantities from FBx (Fulfilled by the marketplace) | Turns FBx pulling on or off for this account. Not available for Trendyol. |
| Push sum of all inventory location to marketplace FBM | Turns FBM pushing on or off for this account. |
If an account isn't a sales channel of any inventory location yet, its push column shows Activate instead:
Click Activate.
In the Select inventories dialog, tick the inventory locations that fulfill this marketplace's orders, or All. Each location shows its city, country and current sales channels.
Click Apply. The marketplace is added as a sales channel of those locations, and pushing turns on.
Set low stock alerts and stop overselling
The low product stock card on the same page sets thresholds for all products:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| FBx - Send an alert if a product stock is equal or lower than | Sends an alert when a product's FBx stock reaches this number. At least 1. |
| FBM - Send an alert if a product stock is equal or lower than | Sends an alert when a product's FBM stock reaches this number. At least 1. |
| Stop selling on marketplaces when the stock is equal or lower than | Under Rules to prevent selling with out of stock (only for FBM): stops selling on marketplaces when your stock reaches this number, so you don't sell what you can't ship. 0 or more. |
Click Save in the card.
Configure a single product
A product can follow its own rules instead of the general ones.
In the Inventory table, open the product's actions menu and choose Manage specific configuration.
The page shows the product with a Specific config badge, and an Inventory Marketplace table with one row per account:
| Column | What it does |
|---|---|
| Marketplace / Country | The account. |
| Active types of fulfillment | FBX or FBM. |
| Pull from Marketplace (FBX) | Pulls the marketplace's FBx quantity for this product. Not available for Trendyol. |
| Push the sum of all inventory (location to marketplace FBM) | Sends the total of all inventory locations for this product. |
| Push to Marketplace (from inventory address) | Sends the stock of one inventory location you choose. Disabled while the sum of all inventory is being pushed. |
| Do not sync FBM quantities? | Stops syncing this product's FBM quantity. |
Each change saves right away.
To give this product its own alert and overselling thresholds, fill in the low product stock card below the table and click Save.
