WhatsApp button on your store
The store widget is a WhatsApp button on your online store. Customers click it to start a WhatsApp chat with you, and the chat can open with a message already written for them. You turn it on and design it from Whatsapp > Settings > Store widget.
The store widget needs a WhatsApp subscription. Without one, the page shows Settings are not available.
Show or hide the button on your store
Open Whatsapp > Settings.
In the Store widget card, turn the switch on to show the button on your store, or off to hide it.
Click Preview on store to open your store in a new tab and check the button.
The Preview card on the customization page shows Activated or Not activated to match the switch.
The button opens a chat with the number you connected to Zid WhatsApp, and those chats arrive in live chat. The button itself costs nothing. Because the customer writes first, your replies are support messages, which use your monthly free support messages first.
Customize the button
In the Store widget card, click Customize.
Set the options in Widget settings, Style of the button and Default introductory message. The Preview card on the side shows the button on a sample store page as you change it.
Click Save.
