Get your first sales
Once your store is set up, Zid guides you to your first order, then to your first five orders. The first sale journey appears on the Dashboard home page, and the 5 Sales Journey has its own page and a progress item in the sidebar.
Neither journey appears in charity (NGO) stores. The 5 Sales Journey appears only in stores Zid selects, so you may not see it in yours.
The first sale journey
Until your store receives its first order, the home page shows a greeting with Almost there, let’s make your first order and three cards. Each card shows an estimated time, and you can do them in any order.

A finished card shows Successfully and a Preview step button to look at what you did. When your first order arrives, the home page switches to its usual widgets.
Create your launch coupon
On the coupon card, select Create coupon.
Enter the Discount amount (percentage), from 1 to 100.
Enter the Coupon code, at least 3 characters. The coupon preview updates as you type.
Select Create coupon.
The coupon is active right away, applies to all products and ends one month later. To change it, open it in Marketing > Discounts. See Discounts and coupons.
Tell your circle
On the Tell Your Circle card, select Share now.
Choose a Message type: Clear and Direct or Friendly & Excited. The message already includes your store link and coupon code.
Under Share via, choose WhatsApp, X or Facebook, or open the menu for SMS, Telegram or Copy message.
Select Mark as done.
Update your social bio
On the bio card, select Update bio.
Select Copy message to copy the Suggested bio, then paste it into your social media profiles.
Select Mark as done.
If you haven't created the coupon yet, the bio shows a placeholder instead of the code and a reminder to create the coupon first.
The 5 Sales Journey
The 5 Sales Journey takes you from your first order to your fifth. While it's active:
The sidebar shows 5 Sales journey at the top of the Home tab, with your progress as a percentage of the five orders.
The home page shows a 5 Sales Journey card with Your current step, that stage's actions and View all steps.
Select either one to open the journey page. The page greets you with Almost there, let's reach your first 5 sales and shows three stages. You complete them in order; a stage stays locked until the one before it is done.

The sidebar item and the home card disappear when the journey is complete.
Use your cashback for shipping
The cashback you earned during setup is in your Zid wallet. Use it to buy shipping labels for your orders: select Go to orders, open an order and create its shipping label. See Order details and Zid wallet. When you're done, select Mark as complete.
Optimize your products and build trust
Optimize with Zid AI opens the Zid AI app, where you can improve product descriptions and images. Selecting it also lists your store's products on Mazeed. See Sell on Mazeed.
Build Store Credibility opens a form where you add your store's links on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X (Twitter) and Facebook, and your Commercial Registration Number. Every field is optional; a registration number must be 10 or 11 digits (7 to 11 in Oman). Select Save. These links also appear in your store settings.
Learn to post content
Watch tutorial opens How to post on social media: 10 short videos, one for each day (Day 1 to Day 10). Each video comes with an idea and examples you can adapt to your products. The journey records each video you watch. A finished stage shows Completed, and the content stage then offers Rewatch tutorials. Download CapCut opens the CapCut website so you can edit your videos.
