Set up your store

While your new store isn't ready to sell yet, the Dashboard home page shows a setup checklist instead of the usual widgets. Each card is one step: your first product, your branding, a support phone number, shipping, business verification and payments. You can complete the steps from their cards, or answer them one question at a time in the Onboarding Wizard.

The steps depend on your country and your plan, and the checklist doesn't appear in charity (NGO) stores. Once every step is done, the home page switches to the first sale journey. See Get your first sales.

What the setup page shows

  • The step cards, each with an estimated time such as 5 mins. A finished card shows Task Completed Successfully.

  • The cashback card, which counts your finished steps (for example 3 / 5) and shows the cashback you earn by finishing them all. You earn 150 riyals (or the same value in your store's currency) when you finish within 24 hours of creating your account, with a countdown to that deadline, and 100 riyals after that. The cashback card doesn't appear for stores in Egypt. In Saudi Arabia, the cashback shows as a bar across the top of the home page instead, with your finished steps in a progress circle.

  • In Saudi Arabia, the 🚀 Need help setting up? card. Select Explore service to see the services Zid's experts offer to build and set up your store for you, add the ones you want with Add to cart, then check out. If none are available yet, the list shows Services coming soon.

  • The free consultation banner, Need a free consultation from the sales team?, with Zid Ai Agent, which opens a WhatsApp chat, and Contact us, which asks about your store and the best time to call you. The banner disappears after you send a request.

  • The Onboarding Wizard button at the top of the page.

Personal details are covered.

When you finish the last step, a Congrats 🎉 message confirms your store is ready for its first sale and that the cashback is in your wallet, where you can use it to buy up to 5 shipping labels. Select Start your first sale journey to continue.
