Shipping and delivery

The Logistics page is where you decide how orders reach your customers: with Zid Ship carriers, with your own shipping company account, with your own couriers, or by letting customers collect orders. Open it from Logistics in the sidebar. The sidebar group also links to Shipping methods, Shipments tracking, Transactions log and Label packages.

Logistics is not available for non-profit (NGO) stores. Staff members need the shipping permissions to open it, and some cards on the page need extra Zid Ship permissions.

Choose the inventory you ship from

Zid Ship shows methods, coverage and prices for the city of the inventory location you ship from.

  1. Make sure you have at least one inventory location with an address. If you have none, the page shows No inventory available. Please add inventory to activate Logistics. with an Add button that opens your inventories.

  2. On Manage shipping methods, Label packages or the Active shipping methods card of the Logistics page, pick the location in the Inventory field. If no location is selected yet, the page asks you to Select a Ship-from Inventory Location to load shipping methods.

Changing the inventory saves it right away and reloads the methods available from that city. You need the permission to manage Zid Ship settings to change it.
