Dashboard home
The home page is the first page you see after signing in, and Dashboard in the sidebar's Home tab takes you back to it. It shows your store's results for a period you choose, your latest orders and reviews, quick links to the pages you use most, and widgets you can arrange yourself.

What the home page shows at each stage
The home page changes as your store grows:
| Stage | What you see | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Your new store isn't set up yet | The setup checklist, the cashback card and the Onboarding Wizard | Set up your store |
| Your store is set up but has no orders | The first sale journey cards | First sales journeys |
| Your store has received orders | The welcome heading, Quick access and your widgets | This page |
Choose the period
The date range at the top of the page sets the period for the sales, orders, visits, conversion and channel widgets. It starts on Last 90 days.
Select the date range.
Pick a preset or choose a start and end date. The presets are Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, Last 60 days, Last 90 days, This month, Last month, This quarter, Last quarter, This year and Last year. With a "Last" days preset selected, tick Include today to count today, or clear it to end the range yesterday.
Each of those widgets also has its own period list, so you can look at one card differently from the rest:
| Option | Period shown |
|---|---|
| Default | The date range at the top of the page |
| Last 7 days | The 7 days before today, and today |
| This month | From the start of this month to today |
| This year | From the start of this year to today |
Staff without permission to view the store's home analytics don't see the date range, and the protected widgets show a permission message instead of figures.
Sign in faster with biometrics
When your browser supports passkeys and you haven't added one yet, the Sign in faster with biometrics alert appears above Quick access. Select Activate and confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock to add a passkey, so you can sign in without waiting for a verification code. Select Not now, or close the alert, to hide it in this browser. You can add a passkey later from Security settings.
Open your recent pages from Quick access
The Quick access card lists the pages you visited most recently. Select a page to open it, or select the star next to it to pin or unpin it. View all opens your pinned and recent pages from the top bar. See Pin pages and find recent pages.
Above the widgets, the home page can also show a notice when an app you installed has a pending payment (select Pay to settle it), and seasonal offers from Zid.
Home widgets
These widgets appear on the home page by default. The name in the widget list (used when you customize the page) can differ from the card's title.

When your store is in the 5 Sales Journey, a 5 Sales Journey card also appears and can't be moved or removed. In charity (NGO) stores, the goals widget doesn't appear.

Each widget links to its full page. For the reports behind the figures, see Analytics.
Track your goals
The Track your goals card shows your progress toward your order goal. Switch between Monthly and Annual to see each goal with its Progress towards your goal, Current orders, Goal and Orders to goal. Select Edit goals to change your goals, or Get help to achieve your goals for suggestions.

Sales by channel
The Sales by channel card shows the total value of the orders each sales channel brought in during the period, such as your online store, Zid POS, Mazeed and the orders you create in the dashboard. Choose a period from its list, or select View report to open the full figures.

Live visitors
The Live visitors card counts the visits to your store in the last 30 minutes and marks on a map the cities your visitors come from. Select the expand button on the map to view it full screen, and View analytics to open Live analytics.

Newest orders and customer reviews
The Newest orders card lists your latest orders with the customer, payment, shipping, price, status and created date. Select View details on an order to open it, or View all orders to open the orders list.

The Customers reviews card counts your total, published and pending reviews. Select Manage reviews to open the reviews page.

Compare two periods
The Compare your growth card compares one indicator across two periods of the same length, such as this week and last week.
Choose the indicator in Select indicator: Total orders, Total sales or Average cart value.

Sample data from a demo store. Pick the period in Select date: a preset, such as Last 30 days, or a custom date range.

Sample data from a demo store. Turn on comparison with the button next to the date. On smaller screens, open the filters and select Enable comparison.
Pick the periods in Select first date and Select second date.
Both periods must have the same number of days and must be different; otherwise the card shows a message instead of the chart. The figure then shows the change between the two periods as a percentage. The chart shows each period in its own color: select a period in the legend to hide it, and point at the chart to see each period's figures. View marketing analytics and View growth insights open the full reports.
Cashback milestones
If your first subscription earns cashback in batches, the goals widget shows Every step deserves a reward! instead of your goals until you earn every batch. There are up to three batches, and each one is earned after a set number of orders, shown as After completing and the number. A batch shows Currently unavailable before it starts, In progress while you work toward it, and Added to wallet once its cashback is in your Zid wallet.
Customize the home page
Select the more options button (⋮) next to the date range, then select Customize.
The page enters edit mode and shows which layout you're editing, for example Customizing your Desktop layout.
Change the layout:
To move a widget, drag it by its handle (Drag to move).
To resize a widget, drag its corner.
To remove a widget, select Remove on it.
To add a widget, select Add widget, then Add next to the widget in Add a widget.
Select Save layout to keep your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
To go back to Zid's default arrangement, select Reset in edit mode, then Save layout. Reset restores the default layout for every screen size and removes the widgets you added.
Each screen size has its own layout: Desktop, Medium-width, Tablet and Mobile. You edit the layout of the screen you're using, so arrange the page on a phone to change the phone layout. If the window changes size while you're editing, edit mode closes and unsaved changes are lost.
Widgets you have no permission for keep their place on the page and show a permission message. Widgets that no longer apply to your store, such as POS sales after you stop using Zid POS, are hidden and return when they apply again.
