Loyalty program
The loyalty program rewards customers with points for what they buy, and lets them redeem those points for a discount on a later order. Set it up in Marketing > Loyalty program.
The loyalty program is included in the Professional plan and above. Some stores on other plans have a trial balance of 10 discounts; after that, buy more from the store add-ons or upgrade your plan. Viewing the program needs the staff permission to view loyalty, and changing it needs the permission to manage loyalty.
Activate the loyalty program
When the program is off, the page shows 88% of customers return with loyalty programs.
Go to Marketing > Loyalty program.
Select Enable loyalty program for your store.
If your plan doesn't include the loyalty program, this opens the plans that include it instead.
Once active, the page shows its analytics and settings, described below.

Trial balance
When your store uses a trial balance, a message at the top shows how many trial discounts are left:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| You have a trial balance | Customers can use your remaining trial discounts |
| Your balance is about to run out | 4 trial discounts or fewer are left |
| Your discount balance has run out | No trial discounts are left |
Select Package upgrade to move to a plan that includes the loyalty program, or Purchase from store add-ons to buy more discounts.
Loyalty analytics
The Analytics card shows the program's results for the dates you pick in its date range, the last 30 days by default.
| Figure | Shows |
|---|---|
| Earned points | Points customers earned, followed by the pending points. Pending points are earned once their orders are fulfilled |
| Redeemed points | Points customers spent on discounts |
| Customers with points | Customers who hold points |

Set how customers earn points
The Earning points methods card lists where customers earn points. It appears only when your plan includes the loyalty program.

Purchase from store: orders from your online store.
Purchase from Zid cashier: sales through POS, when you use it.
Each line shows its rule, such as one point for every riyal, or 20 points for every 100 riyals.
Turn each method on or off with its switch, then select Save.
To change the rule, select Edit. In Edit cashback rule, enter the amount in Every and the points in Wins. Both must be 1 or more.

Set how customers redeem points
The Redeeming points methods table lists how customers turn points into a discount. You can add up to 10 methods.

| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Redemption methods | The method type. Fixed amount is the method available |
| Discount value | The discount the customer gets, in your store's currency |
| Required points | The points the customer spends for that discount |
| Status | A switch that turns the method on or off |
| Created date | When the method was added |
To add a method:
Select Create. With no methods yet, select Activate Loyalty Program.
In Edit redemption method, enter the Required points and the Discount value. Both must be 1 or more.

To change a method, select its edit button, update the values and select Save. To remove it, select its delete button and confirm.
A loyalty points discount combines with a cart discount, such as a coupon, an automatic discount or a progressive discount, only when Activate multiple discounts is on in your checkout settings; otherwise only one of them applies. See When discounts overlap.
Offer more than one method, such as 100 points for 10 riyals and 450 points for 50 riyals, to reward customers who save their points.
Write the loyalty program page
Your store has a page that explains the program to customers. Write its title and text yourself.
In the Loyalty program card, select Set up content, or Edit content if you have written it before.
In Loyalty program content, enter the Title in each language.
Write the Content for each of your store's languages in the editors.

Deactivate the loyalty program
Select Deactivate at the top of the page.
