Accept Samsung Pay in your store
Samsung Pay lets customers pay with the cards saved on their Samsung phone, without typing card details. It comes with Zid Payments: once Zid Payments is active, you turn the Samsung Pay networks on or off in Payments > Manage. There is no separate Samsung Pay setting in your store's checkout options.
Samsung Pay needs an active Zid Payments account, which is available to stores in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Turning networks on or off needs the staff permissions to view Zid Payments and manage its settings.
Turn on Samsung Pay
Activate Zid Payments if it isn't active yet. See Activate Zid Payments.
Go to Payments and select Manage at the top of the page.
On the Networks tab, switch on the Samsung Pay networks you want to accept. See Turn the Samsung Pay networks on or off.
Samsung Pay then appears to customers among the payment options at checkout.
What your customers see
At checkout, a customer with a supported Samsung phone chooses Samsung Pay and confirms the payment on their phone instead of entering card details.
Turn the Samsung Pay networks on or off
Samsung Pay comes as separate payment networks, and customers see only the ones that are on.
| Country | Samsung Pay networks |
|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | Samsung Pay Mada for mada cards and Samsung Pay Visa for Visa and Mastercard cards. You turn each on or off separately. |
| Kuwait | One Samsung Pay network. |
Go to Payments and select Manage.
Open the Networks tab.
In All Networks, switch each Samsung Pay network on or off.
Each switch saves as soon as you change it. The switches are disabled while your Zid Payments account is suspended, disabled or dormant. Zid Payments settings covers the other tabs.
Samsung Pay fees
Samsung Pay has no fee of its own to set up. Each payment carries a Zid Payments fee that depends on your country and your Zid plan, excluding VAT:
| Country | Samsung Pay fee |
|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | According to the card used at checkout: a payment with Samsung Pay Mada carries your plan's mada fee, and a payment with Samsung Pay Visa carries your plan's Visa and Mastercard fee. |
| Kuwait | One flat fee for all cards: 2.85% on the Rise plan, 2.75% on the Growth plan and 2.65% on the Professional plan. |
To see the current fees for every network on each plan, select About Zid payments on the Payments page or on the Networks tab, and look under Packages. Higher plans pay lower fees. Each transaction's fee also appears in its details in Transactions.

Limits
Samsung Pay isn't available on every Zid Payments account. If the Networks tab doesn't list a Samsung Pay network, your account can't offer it.
The networks and fees on this page are Zid Payments'. If you use another payment gateway instead, select Browse in Other payment Providers on the Payments page and check each gateway's Supported networks. See Other payment gateways.
Find Samsung Pay payments
In Payments > Transactions, the Network column shows the Samsung Pay logo for payments made with Samsung Pay. The Payment network filter has no Samsung Pay option. See Payment transactions and refunds.
In Orders, orders paid with Samsung Pay through Zid Payments show the card icon in the Payment column, like other card payments. See Manage orders.
