POS reports

POS reports show how your points of sale perform: daily sales and profit, totals per payment method, and the cash balance of every cashier session. Open them from Channels > POS > Reports. The page has three tabs: Sales report, Payment report and Sessions history.

Reports need both the POS permission and the POS reports permission. They also depend on your plan: when your subscription doesn't include POS reports, the tables show an upgrade message and Export all opens an upgrade dialog. On the free POS Go plan, the reports are locked and Export all is disabled. See POS Go and POS Pro plans.

Read the sales report

The Sales report tab opens on all your POS sales to date, one row per day.

The Total card at the top sums the period:

FigureMeaning
SalesTotal sales value.
Net revenueSales after returns, without tax.
Cost of goods soldThe cost of the products sold, based on their cost prices.
Gross profitNet revenue minus the cost of goods sold.
Gross margin (%)Gross profit as a share of net revenue.
Tax amountThe tax collected.

The table shows the same figures for each day under Date. Expand a day to see its breakdown under Cashiers and Cashier users. Click View on a day, cashier or cashier user to open the matching transactions in POS transactions.

Filter the sales report

  1. Click the filters button.

  2. Under General, choose one of Cashier, Cashier user or Coupon, then pick one or more values in the field that appears. You can filter by only one of the three at a time.

  3. Under Select date range, set the period.

  4. Click Apply. The active filters appear as chips above the table; remove a chip to clear it.

Fill in each product's cost price so Cost of goods sold, Gross profit and Gross margin (%) reflect your real margins. See Product details.

Read the payment report

The Payment report tab shows how customers paid.

  • The Total card shows the total collected with each payment method, such as cash, credit card or payment link.

  • The table has a Date column and one column per payment method, with the amount collected that day. A dash means nothing was collected with that method.

  • Click View on a day to open that day's transactions.

Read the sessions history

A session runs from the moment a cashier opens a shift until it's closed. When closing, the cash and card amounts in hand are compared with what the system expected. The Sessions history tab lists every session:

ColumnWhat it shows
CashierThe cashier (point of sale) of the session.
Start time / End timeWhen the session opened and closed.
Started by / Closed byThe staff members who opened and closed it. --- means no closing staff member is recorded.
CashBalanced when the counted cash matched the expected amount, Unbalanced otherwise.
Credit cardBalanced or Unbalanced for card payments.

Expand a session to see its Actual, Expected and Difference amounts for cash and card, and the Session note left when closing. Click View on the note row to open the session's transactions.

Export a report

  1. Open the tab you want to export and set its filters.

  2. Click Export all at the top of the page.

  3. For the payment report and sessions history, confirm by clicking Send in the Export all orders dialog. The sales report is sent right away.

The report goes to your account email, and the dashboard opens Export requests, where you can follow the file.
