Sell on Amazon
Amazon is a global marketplace. Connect your Amazon seller account for the country you choose, then link your Amazon listings to your Zid products, so Amazon orders come into Zid and your stock and prices stay in sync. You manage Amazon from Channels > Marketplaces.
What you manage from Zid
Orders: bring in all Amazon orders, or only the orders for products you've linked, whether you ship them yourself (FBM) or Amazon does (FBA). See Marketplace orders.
Products: link each Amazon listing to its Zid product. Zid doesn't create listings on Amazon. See Link listings to Zid products.
Stock: send Amazon the quantities of the products you ship yourself, from your inventory locations, and bring into Zid the quantities Amazon stores for you. See Marketplace inventory sync.
Prices: adjust your Amazon prices with price rules or fixed prices. See Marketplace prices.
Invoices: choose who issues the customer invoice. See Marketplace account settings.
Activate Amazon
On the Marketplaces tab, click Start activation on the Amazon card.
On the Amazon activation page (step 1, Account), choose your country in Select country:.
Under Do you have an existing account in Amazon?, choose:
No, create a new Amazon seller account to register on Amazon first.
Yes, connect my Amazon seller account to link an account you already have.

Sample data from a demo store. Click Create Amazon account. You leave Zid for Amazon, where you register or sign in and approve the connection.
Back in Zid (step 2, Settings), answer How do you want to sync your Marketplace orders?:
Sync all orders: every Amazon order comes into Zid, even when the product isn't in your catalog.
Sync only orders with matching products: only orders for products already in your Zid catalog.
Click Complete Activation.
Read the Amazon Marketplace Acceptable Use Policy and click Agree.
The Marketplaces tab opens with Amazon active. To link another country's account, click Link new account on the Amazon card and repeat the steps.
If the connection fails, the Overview tab shows the reason, for example that the account is already connected to another store, or that you have no seller account in the country you chose.
Amazon's acceptable use policy prohibits brushing, fake orders, fake or incentivized reviews and counterfeit or infringing products. Accounts that break it may be suspended or disconnected and reported to Amazon.
Create an Amazon seller account
If you don't sell on Amazon yet, choose No, create a new Amazon seller account in step 3. Amazon's seller registration opens for the country you chose, such as Amazon Seller Central for Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Egypt. Amazon offers individual and professional seller accounts, and either one can be linked to Zid.
Have these ready before you start:
A valid national ID or passport.
A commercial registration or freelance certificate.
A bank account, and a credit card or a bank statement.
An email address and a mobile number. Amazon verifies both during registration.
In Saudi Arabia, Amazon requires a commercial registration to register and sell. Amazon's screens look like this in Amazon.sa Seller Central, in Arabic:
After you click Create Amazon account, Amazon's Sell on Amazon page opens. Click Sign up.

Create your account: enter your name, email and a password of at least 6 characters, re-enter the password and click Next (التالي). Amazon then verifies your email and mobile number.

The welcome page lists three steps: answer a few quick questions, provide your details and documents, and get verified to start selling. Click Start (ابدأ الاستخدام).

Choose where your business is registered, then your business type: state-owned, publicly listed, privately owned, a charity, or an individual with no registered business. As an individual, enter your first, middle and last name as they appear on your ID, then click Save and continue (حفظ ومتابعة).

Amazon lists what an individual in Saudi Arabia needs: a valid government ID or passport, a mobile phone, and a recent utility bill, bank statement or credit card statement. Tick the box to confirm that your business location and type are correct, since you can't change them later, and click Agree and continue (موافقة ومتابعة).

For a privately owned business, enter the business name exactly as it appears on your registration document.

Amazon then lists what the business needs: a valid government ID or passport, a mobile phone, a commercial registration from the Ministry of Commerce and Investment or a municipal license, and a letter of authorization or power of attorney if you aren't the owner or legal representative. Confirm the location and type, and continue.

Amazon checks your identity document before it approves the account:
Upload a clear color scan of both sides. The document must not be expired.
The full name on the document must match the name on your Amazon account. A company sends the ID of its main contact person or its beneficial owner.
A passport copy must show the holder's signature.
Any document other than a passport must be in a language Amazon supports, such as English, or come with a certified translation into one.
The details you enter, such as the ID number and expiry date, must match the document.
Once Amazon approves your account, create your listings in Amazon, then link them to your Zid products. See Link listings to Zid products.
To offer free shipping on Amazon, set up the rule in your Amazon account so it matches your shipping rules in Zid.
