Order and product properties
Order and product properties are store-wide rules for orders, such as automatic statuses and order limits, and for how products behave and appear in your store. Open them from Settings > General > Orders and products properties. The page has two cards, Order Properties and Product properties, and each card has its own Save button.
To open this page, a staff member needs the permission to view order and product properties. To save changes, they need the permission to manage them. Options marked with an upgrade icon depend on your plan and stay disabled until your plan includes them.
Change order or product properties
Turn the option on or off in its card. Some options show an extra field when you turn them on.
Select Save in the same card.
Save becomes available once you change something in that card. Save each card separately.
Order properties

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show feature for shipment receipt by another person. | Customers can name someone else to receive their shipment. At checkout, they enter the recipient's name, phone number and address, and can choose to send the order messages to the recipient too. The recipient then appears in the order details. On charity stores this option is Show donation gift feature. Depends on your plan. |
| Automatically change paid new orders status to "completed" | Paid orders that do not need shipping move to completed automatically, which suits digital products and services that customers use as soon as they pay. While it is on, you cannot change these orders' status manually. |
| Automatically change paid new orders status to "ready" | Paid new orders move to ready automatically. Depends on your plan. |
| Enable reorder feature | Customers can place a previous order again: in their account in your store, they open the order from their orders and select reorder. It works for orders that were delivered. |
| Enable manual payment | Lets you choose manual payment when you create a manual order that was paid outside Zid, without affecting your store's financial calculations. |
| Enable minimum order limit | Shows the Minimum order limit field. Customers cannot check out below this cart amount, in your store currency. Depends on your plan. |
| Enable maximum order limit | Shows the Maximum order limit field. Customers cannot check out above this cart amount, in your store currency. Depends on your plan. |
Charity stores see one more switch with the same name as the "completed" option. It links an order's status to its payment status.
When someone else receives the order
With Show feature for shipment receipt by another person. on, customers choose at the address step of checkout that another person will receive the shipment, then fill in:
The recipient's details: name, country code and mobile number, and an email address if they have one (optional).
The recipient's address: country, city, street and district.
Whether the recipient also gets the order's messages and notifications, with the switch at the end of the form.

You receive the order in Orders as usual. Its details show both the customer and the recipient, and the shipping company delivers to the recipient's address.
Reorder from the store
With Enable reorder feature on, customers reorder from their account in your store:
They sign in to your store, select their name at the top of the page, and open their orders.

Personal details are covered. They open a delivered order by its number and select the reorder button.

Personal details are covered. The same products go back into checkout, where they complete the new order.
To record a manual payment, open Orders, create a manual order and choose manual payment in its payment step. See Draft orders.

Set the limit in Low stock threshold, a whole number of 1 or more. |
The remaining-quantity label, low stock notifications and the out-of-stock order follow your product quantities. To manage stock, see Stock management.
When a customer goes on to pay online and reaches the card details step, the products in their cart are reserved for 30 minutes, and the product shows as reserved in the dashboard. If the payment isn't completed in that time, the quantity goes back to stock. These moves appear as Cart reservation and Cart release in Stock history.
What customers see
The remaining-quantity and purchase-count options show on the product page in your store, for example "Only 1 left" under the product name, or "Bought more than 10 times" next to the remaining quantity. The wording comes from your theme.

With the purchase count on, the page also shows how many times the product was bought:
